During pregnancy, it's easy to get swept up in the whirlwind of preparation—planning for the birth, decorating the nursery, and gathering all the adorable baby essentials. With so much to do, it's easy to forget to take a moment for yourself.
That’s where Maternity Photography comes in. It gives you the opportunity to celebrate this monumental time in your life, capturing the beauty and strength of your changing body. These photos will serve as tangible reminders of the incredible journey you’ve been on and the life you’re creating.

HOW TO BOOK?
Maternity photography sessions usually take place in the third trimester from around 28 weeks until a week or two before your due date. This is to allow for you to be a little more comfortable in the studio and your bump should be nice and round. I aim to miss the final couple of weeks before the baby arrives so this gives you time to relax before the big day.
However, if there are extenuating circumstances or if you'd prefer to schedule your session earlier or later, please feel free to reach out, and we will work together to find a time that suits you.
A £55 non-refundable Session fee needs to be paid to secure your booking. This does NOT include any photos or products.

WHERE WILL THE SESSION TAKE PLACE?
Your maternity photography session will take place in the comfort of my own lovely home studio, on the outskirts of Barnsley and Rotherham, at Manvers, South Yorkshire. It is within easy access from the M1 and A1 motorways.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
For your maternity session, you have a few options to ensure you feel comfortable and look stunning.
You’re welcome to bring your own clothing, such as flowing dresses, fitted tops, maxi skirts, or any outfit that makes you feel confident and showcases your baby bump beautifully.
I also have some lovely maternity outfits available that you’re welcome to use during your session. These outfits are chosen to flatter and photograph beautifully, with a variety of styles to suit different looks.
If you’re happy to include more intimate, less-clothed shots (such as draped fabric, lingerie, or tasteful skin-baring poses), I recommend wearing matching underwear in neutral tones (white, black, or nude) for a seamless and elegant finish in your photographs.
The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and radiant—we’ll tailor everything to suit your preferences and style!
The key is to wear something you feel comfortable and radiant in—this session is all about celebrating you!
CAN I BRING MY PARTNER & CHILDREN?
Yes of course, there is no better connection between the partner and the growing bump and these can make wonderful photos.
The same with your children, seeing their connection with your growing bump is such a wonderful experience to capture.
